Kate is a Navy wife and mama of two currently living in South Texas. She graduated college in 2013 and married Matt, a Naval Aviator. Since then, they’ve moved across the country 6 times and have loved every minute. She has a passion for Jesus, her family, and her friends. When she isn’t chasing her two littles around, she loves doing anything outdoors or just hanging with friends.
This book was inspired by her son during Matt’s first deployment. Her hope is that Patches can be an and encouraging and fun way for children to connect with parents when they are away.
Page R. Burow is a young artist and designer from the sunny shores of South Florida. She graduated in 2019 from the School of the Art Institute of Chicago with a focus in both fashion design and illustration. She returned to her home in the Sunshine State, and currently focuses on freelance illustrating and private design. When she’s not working, Page likes to care for her golden retriever, get lost in thrift shops and to borrow way too many books from her local library. Page can be contacted via email or instagram:
